The Museum easily seats up to 120 guests for dinner in the main space, The Nave, beneath the beautiful stained glass windows and medieval architecture. There is also plenty of room for drinks and dancing in the same space when dinner has ended.
The breathtaking interior is very versatile and an informal party style reception works equally as well as a formal sit down meal, the choice is completely yours.

Very cute museum. It has great views.
Fantastic "hidden gem" museum on the Southbank! Also hosts special events.
Museum in a beautiful barely modified church.
Beautifully done and full of excellent little details.
The garden around is lovely, the museum very interesting. An elegant place with nice staff.
Very lovely place, charming nice outside courtyard with stunning plants.
The staff were helpful and charming.
The museum has been beautifully integrated into the redundant church building, and its spacious layout allows a certain spirituality to remain. All the staff were helpful, above and beyond the usual.
Excellent small museum. Very high standard.
A little gem in the heart of LONDON.
Small but a lovely little museum dedicated to gardening housed inside a beautiful church. You can also walk up a steep spiral staircase to get a London view. The courtyard garden is stunning with tomb stones. The food was delicious and rustic in style...
Beautiful and peaceful space. Friendly, thoughtful staff.
Very nice venue, the staff were all polite and friendly.

What a hidden gem in Lambeth. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The staff here were so polite and efficient. This is highly recommended.
Blew me away!!! The food was perfection on a plate and the setting so lovely!!! There wasn't a single thing I'd change. Keep it up guys!! You're doing an amazing job and I'll recommend you to everyone I know.
A truly lovely museum and a lush cool green garden recently redesigned by Dan Pearson. An absolute treat.. Very friendly and genuinely helpful staff.
This former church setting is magnificent with its sympathetically designed galleries showing off both the exhibits and remaining stained glass windows. A friendly welcome awaits you.
The Garden Museum is a haven of tranquillity. The Victorian Church building and the cloister garden are atmospheric and peaceful. Recent renovations have improved the experience whilst the character and history of the building have been retained. Views...
Hidden gem! A beautiful, repurposed church.
Excellent location by Lambeth bridge and within walking distance of Westminster. Quality of food excellent, well presented and obviously prepared by skilled chefs. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
This was a real find...highly recommended - staff friendly and pleasant.
Little gem of a museum. Not too big and has an imaginative layout in an old church. Beautiful courtyard garden.
Lovely views and friendly, efficient staff. Spotless place!
A very enjoyable experience. The museum is small and gives off a feeling of intimacy.
Garden Museum is amazing venue when it comes to wedding in London. From outside you got beautiful view on the Westminster and Big Ben. Inside you got access to massive hall which on the evening turn to be dance floor. Fabulous place for wedding in London...
Situated next door to Lambeth Palace on the South Bank of the Thames in an old church (St Mary at Lambeth), it is a beautiful building and is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and the oldest building in Lambeth. One of London's hidden atmospheric gems!
It was lovely. Will be recommending this to friends and family.
The setting is charming. I would recommend a wander round the grounds. Almost rural.

I did love it..it is so tranquil. Such a good use of an old church.
Enchanting space in an old church displaying garden memorabilia.
Helpful staff and fascinating building to house it all.
Loved the venue such an unique experience of stained glass windows, arches, church features yet housing a very interesting garden museum.
A fascinating place. Amazing view of the Thames and Lambeth Palace, from the tower.
Some of the best food I have had in London. Lovely setting, great atmosphere and food to match.
Beautifully presented and very interesting. What a wonderful way to make use of an unneeded church.
The new garden is beautiful with a selection of different plants. The new building is stunning and the whole refurbishment is a triumph.
The biggest kept secret for weddings in London. We were there last Saturday and had the most fabulous time, including the wedding dinner in the wonderful church. The gardens, welcome are just perfect. We loved it all....
Magical place, beautiful exhibitions, lovely garden and very nice people.
